I recently had the opportunity to fly in an L-39. My friend invited me to join him at a formation clinic being held at Mojave Airport. There we joined four other jets for a thrilling afternoon.  These are very powerful aircraft and aerobatics in them is as hot as it gets.

While there, I had the opportunity to do some aerial photography and shot the photo on the left which later became the cover of the November 2005 issue of Classic Jet Journal.
